Machine worked approximately 50,000 hours since purchase. The machine is continually maintained and lubricated and is still in use albeit less frequently. The tooling of this machine has been customized for our particular use and enables thin gauge materials down to 0.2mm thick to be punched virtually burr free. There are 4 tool arches consisting of 2 C stations and 3 B stations each, a total of 8 C and 12 B stations. The tools move in the y direction on two separate carriages enabling up to 400mm wide material strip to be fed. CNC feeding is via Dalcos’s patented Vega feeder. Punching power is via a 250psi hydraulic power pack unit supplying each tool staion with up to 8 tons of punching force. Material is sheared of at the end of the punch via a 10 Ton shearing knife. Control to the electric cabinet is via the PC console. The strip is decoiled on a 1.25Ton decoiler with separate manual and automatic loop control. The machine is offered with customized tool holders for all stations ( B and C) as well as the self centering die holders in each tool holder. These tool arches can be replaced if you wish to receive standard Amada thick tooling or other types of tooling- this would have to be done with Dalcos Italy.
